National Research Awards
Award Categories
1) National Award for Research Excellence
Research Publication in a journal with the highest Impact Factor by a Pharmacologist)
- Thomson Reuters Impact Factor shall be considered forthe award
- Only original Research Articles, Review Articles, Metanalysis, and Systemic reviews will be considered
- Paper published from January 2022 onwards shall be considered.
2) National Award for Research Scholar
(Highest number of Research Publications by a Pharmacologist)
- Only the publications in indexed journals ( Medline, PubMed, PubMed Central, Central Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index, Expanded Embase, Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DoAJ), National Science Library) shall be considered
- Only original Research Articles, meta-analysis, and Systemic reviews will be considered. (Case report, Letter to editor, and Education Forum article will not be considered)
- In case of a tie, a total number of citations will be considered.
- Papers published from January 2022 onwards shall be considered
3) National Award for Outstanding Research Publication
(Best paper published in National Journal of Pharmacology & Therapeutics by a Pharmacologist)
- Only original Research Articles, Review Articles, Metanalysis, and Systemic reviews will be considered
- Papers published in the National Journal of Pharmacology & Therapeutics from January 2022 onwards shall be considered.
Categories
- Residents (MD students/senior residents)
- Junior faculty members (Assistant professors)
- Senior faculty members (Associate/Additional professors and professors)
Eligibility Criteria for Participants
- The award is open to pharmacologists working in academia, industry, private, or government institutes.
- The candidate (only MD Pharmacology) must be registered for NAPTICON 2024.
- Candidates can be self-nominated or nominated by other NPT members.
- Only the first author or corresponding author can submit their nominations and will be eligible for the award. If both authors apply for the same award, the first author will be considered.
- Only published articles will be considered. Accepted for publication or ahead of print articles will not be accepted for research award
- The organizing team members of NAPTICON 2024 shall not be eligible for this category of awards.
- Papers published from January 2022 onwards shall be considered
- Last date of submission of nominations for research award is 30 th September 2024
